WillowTree is a leader in developing iPhone, Android and other mobile apps focused on taking advantage of the social and local trends in mobile.
We have developed variety of apps that include local search functionality, including the first iPhone garage finder, Spotasaurus, featured by Apple in its newspaper and TV advertisements in 2009. We are experts in taking a large amount of location data and making it easily accessible on the small screens and limited bandwidth available on a mobile device.

Applications can serve information that is immediately relevant to the user’s current location and state. Local and hyper-local search allow user to quickly access information that is geographically relevant to them, or find products and services available from local merchants. WillowTree has a particular expertise in local search and directory apps, such as the apps we developed for Manta.
Often these services can be presented in highly engaging augmented reality approaches such as Yelp’s Monocle.
