Mobile Workforce Automation
SmartPhones permit organizations to track and direct mobile workforces (such as fleet drivers) and provide real-time access to data (such as to mobile or even retail salesforces). Examples include both our iCarStereo and Sylvania apps, which permit salespeople to access real-time data for complicated products while engaging the customer.
Crutchfield’s iCarStereo app has proven to be an effective mobile salesforce support tool — in-store sales reps are using it to consult customers on what products are best for their cars, without having to go behind a counter and log into a computer.
