WillowTree designed and developed the Sitter Sorter™ iPhone app for A&S Simple Solutions, a start-up by two working parents who were convinced there was a simpler, faster way to get routine tasks done. Finding a baby sitter, especially on short notice, can be a time-consuming and frustrating experience. The Sitter Sorter™ app turns it into a few taps on your mobile device.
At its core, the app contacts multiple potential babysitters and asks them to respond to a certain availability. The parents then can choose the available sitter that best fits their needs. The app handles all communication with the sitters. Just like that a task that can stretch over one or more days becomes a total less than five minutes.
We feel the app looks beautiful and shows off our team’s UI and mobile design skills. The Sitter Sorter™ babysitter finder app was named a Top 25 Holiday app for 2011 by Babble.
Sitter Sorter was also featured as a “Date Night Essential” on the iTunes Store.
