Monticello retained WillowTree Apps to design and develop its mobile site and web app.
The app includes:
- Information to plan your visit including tickets, tours, films, exhibits, featured events, hours, before you visit information, things to do, and suggested itineraries.
- Featured tours including detailed information on all upcoming events.
- Locations and directions.
- About us information.
This museum and cultural institution mobile website was designed and developed using WillowTree’s propriety Mobile Tango® development platform. The mobile web app was designed to provide users all information likely to be required in several mobile use cases, without bogging down the mobile site with extraneous information such as details of Thomas Jefferson’s life.
The mobile site was also designed to closely match the look and feel of the underlying website, but in the context of a mobile environment.
