The Verge, a technology news publication, recently selected WillowTree Apps to design and develop their first app now available on Android and iOS devices. Now, The Verge readers can easily access news and reviews right on their mobile device. The advanced video streaming integration allows users to watch videos straight from the app without needing to migrate to a browser or other source. Audio streams can be heard within the app or additionally when the app is in the background. Other notable features include browsing photo galleries, sharing comments, and posting articles directly to social media websites.
Through StoryStream and the new “follow” button, users can select specific articles to form a personalized favorites list. From there, users can opt to receive notifications regarding recent updates based on selected interests. The Verge app gives users access to a variety of the most current technology stories, reviews, and features regarding the mobile space.
