We designed and developed this healthcare-related iPhone app for University of Virginia Professor Mark Williams, Chief, Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics.
This app helps the user become a medical Sherlock Holmes. Users learn how to diagnose a variety of diseases and medical disorders based on the appearance, texture, etc. of fingernails. The app is an invaluable tool to physicians, medical students, residents, nurses and anyone else involved in the care of the elderly and other patients. Additionally, it’s a fun app for anyone interested in diagnosing health issues by simply looking at someone’s fingernails. We’ve even heard of some fortune tellers using this app.
