BabyCenter, LLC originally retained WillowTree Apps to assist in the design and development of BabyCenter My Pregnancy Today app for iPhone and iPod Touch: the most comprehensive daily pregnancy app from the #1 pregnancy and parenting destination worldwide. Simply by entering a baby’s due date, this app serves as an expert guide for each day of pregnancy.
Working in concert with BabyCenter’s internal team, WillowTree was able to help develop features that include:
- Database integration allowing the display of day-by-day pregnancy information, checklists and nutritional guides.
- Rich Media – videos and fetal development images
- Calendars, calculators and reminders
- Social integration with the BabyCenter Community: quick and easy access to “Birth Clubs”

Android
Thereafter, the WillowTree team was retained to help design and develop the Android version of the My Pregnancy Today app. This app became one of the fastest growing apps on Android after its launch.

iPad
We’re particularly proud of the Birth Class iPad app, as it was featured by Apple during the launch of the iPad2. It features advanced video integration including real-time syncing between the video and other content on the split screen.
